OBJECTIVE
|
I would like to contribute and collaborate with other professionals in a challenging environment. My talent, knowledge and skill set has been developing for nearly fourteen years. The real world experience in the production and oversight of many Print, Internet and Television media productions has given me an advantage over other designers and creative professionals.
I have always believed that the artist and creative professional should embrace all the available tools for the purpose of having the ability of communicating in any form of media. By moving into other traditional professions, I have been developing a portfolio of work that is representative of the traditional ad agencies of old. Maximum continuity is atained for the purpose of reinforcing and over time, branding the message.
With a traditional art and design education as well as years of experience working along side of advertising and marketing professionals, a designer like myself has the ability to rapidly comprehend the overall strategy. This makes me aware and concious of the many complexities and creative solutions that need to be executed to acomplish the end goal.
Many interesting projects covering the full spectum of entertainment, industrial, corporate and public arenas have allowed me the pleasure of traveling to other countries to work on projects that have been seen all over the world.
I am perfectly suited in a independent or team production environment. I am able to produce projects with or without oversight that are executed efficiently with high standards that are completed on time and within budget.

I was commissioned by the creator of the show and enjoyed the experience of traveling abroad. I provided the latest photography and design support for all show imagery and aided the producer with developing show identity, the identity of the shows corporation ShowMaxX, merchandise materials including programs, and all advertisements. In addition, my responsibilities extended to production oversight of the materials.
In 2000, utilizing a budget, I researched and put together a professional DV solution that was used to film an original movie called "Havana Night, Passion of Cuba". During the month of January 2001, the movie was shot by Eric Delgado and Gian Nicola Bass in Sony's DVCam format. I was responsible for all technical issues including monitoring camera color temperature matching, frame rate and interlacing issues instructed by DVFilm Transfers www.dvfilm.com. After overseeing the Dolby surround processing; I coordinated the transfer to film with Technicolor in New York. At an office in Manhattan, I was responsible for setting up, networking and consistently backing up three first-generation G - 4 Macintosh work stations running the first release of Final Cut Pro. I assisted my associate, Gian Nicola Bass, with editing, rough - cut 25% of the scenes and created the motion graphics and special effects of the movie using Final Cut Pro,Commotion Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop. In 2002, the show added a projection backdrop for which I created the motion graphics. I used the software packages listed below as well as Cinema 4D, a 3D graphics and animation software package.
